  • Rapeseed meal is used basically in animal feed due to its protein content of 36-38%.

  • Indian Rapeseed Meal is a course powdery material, produced from rapeseed cake after series of preparatory physical processes followed by multistage extraction of oil under hygienically controlled conditions.

  • INDIA is a big exporter of RAPESEED MEAL to South Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Bangkok, Philippines and even China.

  • Rapeseed meal is having an extremely good amino acid composition, often compared to the milk protein, contributes to it is high nutritive value. The amino acid profile showing adequate lysine and methionine is very much favorable to the non-recruitment poultry feed.

Description

Rapeseed Extract is a by-product of oil manufacture, obtained by extraction of seeds of rape (minimum botanical purity 94%).

Nutritional Attributes

An oilseed co-product which is high in protein and has a good energy content. Can be used to replace soya in the diet, although lower in protein and energy. EU double zero feed varieties of rape should be used for feed which are low in both erucic acid and glycosylates

Storage and Handling

Rapeseed Extract should be stored at ambient/cool temperatures in dry flats stores. No heat should be applied to the material as it is subject to self-ignition given combustible conditions.
